Who we are

Two decades of light, privacy, and clean craftsmanship.

Aspen Glass Block is an owner-operated business built on a simple idea: a glass block install should look as good up close as it does from the street—and still be watertight in twenty years.

For more than 20 years we've set glass block windows and walls throughout the Denver area and all along the Front Range. From a single basement window to a full-height feature wall, every joint is tooled by hand and every panel is set true. We handle traditional mortared block, modern silicone-fabricated panels, and repairs to failing acrylic block—so you get the right method for your home, not just the one we happen to sell.

What we do

Three ways to build with glass block.

Every project starts with how you want it to look and where it has to live. We'll walk your space, talk through the options, and recommend the approach that fits.

Classic & durable

Traditional mortared block

The time-tested method: solid block laid in mortar for windows and walls that shrug off weather and deliver decades of privacy and light. Ideal for bathrooms, basements, and any opening that needs to last.

Clean & modern

Silicone-fabricated windows

Pre-assembled panels joined with clear silicone instead of mortar—thin, crisp grid lines and a bright, contemporary look. A great fit for modern remodels and showers where you want the glass to be the detail.

Repair & replace

Acrylic block repair & replacement

Cloudy, cracked, or fogged acrylic block windows? We repair and replace failing acrylic units—restoring clarity, security, and a clean finish without redoing the whole opening.

Where it works

Light where you want it—privacy where you need it.

Glass block earns its keep almost anywhere a standard window feels too exposed or too plain.

Bathrooms & showers

Daylight in the shower without sacrificing privacy—mortared or silicone-fabricated to suit your tile.

Basement & garden level

Secure, hard-to-breach windows that still let light into lower-level rooms and egress wells.

Privacy windows

Street-facing, side-yard, and stairwell openings that stay bright but keep the view to yourself.

Curved & decorative walls

Freestanding partitions and gentle curves that divide a space while keeping it open and luminous.

Feature & entry walls

Full-height glass block panels that turn a stair, foyer, or façade into the highlight of the room.

Commercial & historic

Storefronts and older buildings where glass block needs to match an era—or bring one back.

Why glass block

One material, a lot of good reasons.

Light with privacy

Daylight floods in while the textured glass keeps sightlines—and neighbors—out.

Security & strength

Solid block set in mortar is far harder to break through than a standard pane.

Energy efficient

Insulating hollow block helps hold temperature and cut drafts around old openings.

Low maintenance

No sashes to rot, no screens to replace—just an occasional wipe-down.

Patterns & finishes

Clear, wave, and icescape textures—and colored block—to match any style.

Built to last

Done right the first time, a glass block install can outlast the wall around it.
